CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Yoga Essentials: This class is for those that are new to yoga.  The class covers basic philosophy, posture alignment, the breath and how a holistic lifestyle can be beneficial.

Gentle/Chair Yoga: Any are welcome to this class that want a gentle approach to yoga using a chair if you choose.  We will focus on stretching, breathing and meditation.

Deep Yoga:  This class is for all levels that want to start living the yogic lifestyle.  Emphasis will be on the Eight Fold Path (no prior knowledge needed).  There will be some lecture, the asana practice, pranayama and meditation.

Dynamic Yoga: 90 minutes.  Those that want more of a challenging class mentally and physically, then this class is for you.  Those that say my mind won’t stop so I can meditate, then this class is for you.  Must be physically active, have had at least one session of Yoga Essentials or similar.  We will flow with the breath through vinyasas and leave plenty of room at the end for a wonderful savasana and meditation… yes you can meditate.

Intro. to Yoga: 60 minutes. This will not be based on any religion or any religious views, but based upon the fact that it reduces stress and in return can bring inner peace, increase self awareness, help with blood pressure, cholesterol and much, much more.  We will be practicing different breathing exercises as well as gentle stretches to help us prepare for meditation.  All are welcome.

Mixed Level Yoga: This class is for everyone.  There will be plenty of modifications for beginners to advanced to help deepen your yoga practice in a class setting.
