Field Trip to Cleveland to see Krishna Das
I’ve been practicing yoga since 1998. I received my 500 hour certification in August, 2010 from Bob Barton of www.ThreeRiversYoga.com in Coraopolis, Pa. My passion for yoga and passion that yoga is accessible to everyone, needed by everyone has continued to strengthen through the years. I’ve been teaching since 2003 and certified through Inner Wellnes. I’ve been influenced by Dr. Ray Long, Bryan Kest, Seane Corn, Manju Jois, Krishna Das and many others. My teaching is an eclectic blend of those that inspire me and the need for everyone to benefit from yoga. My classes are accessible for all… the only requirements are to breath, stay present, love and honor your whole being. My teachers are Bob Barton from Three Rivers Yoga.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU WANT A “GYM” YOGA CLASS. I WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE MY CLASS! THIS IS AUTHENTIC YOGA THAT COMBINES THE SPIRITUAL PHILOSOPHIES OF THE PRACTICE!
August of 2009 students completed the second 200 hour Laughing Heart Yoga Teacher Training program that is approved by the Yoga Alliance. There will be more information posted when I will be having the next teacher training. If you can’t wait for that information, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I am now an affiliate Yoga School with Three Rivers Yoga in Coraopolis, PA. The classes that I teach are at my studio, The Yoga Room, in Warren, Ohio. They are registered under The Yoga Alliance as 200 hour and 500 hour certifications.
In August of 2009 I went on a monthlong meditation retreat to Tara Mandala to deepen my meditation practice even more. In August 2010, I completed my 500 yoga training at Three Rivers Yoga in Coraopolis, Pa. When I met Bob and Cindi, I knew that Three Rivers Yoga was the place for me to continue my yoga training. Daily I practice mediation and yoga on and off the mat.
I am grateful daily that my husband John introduced yoga to me many moons ago. I am grateful for all those who have come before me, those that are present now and all those that will come after me. May all sentient beings find happiness and all the causes of happiness without one exception.

Hey Maureen,
The month long retreat sounds great. How fun is that!? I’m interested in more info about teacher training. I am also really enjoying your classes at the NWC. Thanks for all of your hard work. You’re very inspiring to me.
Later,
Ann

Ann, thanks so much!! As far as the yoga teacher training, my personal teacher training will begin in September and will last 1 year, so I will not be doing another teacher training until I complete my 500 hours… I think it would be too complicated, but when I come back to the teacher training you will be getting soooo much more from me. Currently I believe that I will still do the one full weekend/month & meet one day/week for 2 hours… but that won’t start until either the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011 (I can’t believe I’m actually planning that far into the future!!!)
I’m pleased that you are able to come to the NWC and are enjoying the classes… I enjoy you in them!!
Much love,
Maureen

Maureen…
I’m so pleased that you have continued your Yoga practice and learning.
Who would have known where it would lead, and who knows where it will continue?!
I think of you as well as the other students often, and wish you well.
Love, Victoria D

Victoria, I am so thankful that you are my teacher… I think about you often as well!! You have taught me so much and if it weren’t for you, my path would not have lead to were it is now. Lots of love and maybe we could have a teacher meet up some time. xoxo maureen
